New Found Glory (formerly A New Found Glory) is an American rock band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997.

The band’s origins trace back to the mid-1990s, when guitarist Steve Klein and bassist Ian Grushka, high school friends, recruited vocalist Jordan Pundik and drummer Joe Marino to form a band. Initially known as A New Found Glory, the band later shortened their name to New Found Glory.

In 1997, New Found Glory independently released their debut EP, “It’s All About the Girls,” which garnered attention in the local punk scene. The EP’s success led to a record deal with Drive-Thru Records, through which the band released their self-titled debut album in 2000. The album featured standout tracks like “Hit or Miss” and “Dressed to Kill,” establishing New Found Glory as a rising force in the pop-punk scene.
New Found Glory‘s breakthrough came with their sophomore album, “Sticks and Stones,” released in 2002. The album spawned the hit single “My Friends Over You,” which received significant radio airplay and MTV rotation, propelling the band to mainstream success.
