Andrew Bazzi, known mononymously as Bazzi, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on August 28, 1997, in Canton, Michigan. Bazzi is of Lebanese descent, and his heritage has played a role in his musical influences.
His mother is American, and his father is a Lebanese immigrant. He has lived in Beirut and has Lebanese nationality. He learned to speak Arabic and played the kazoo, oud, and guitar as a child. In 2012, he began posting covers of songs on his YouTube channel. He attended Plymouth-Canton Educational Park. In November 2014, he moved to the Los Angeles area to pursue a music career. He finished high school at Santa Monica High School in 2015.
Bazzi initially gained traction on the social media platform Vine, where he posted short videos showcasing his singing and songwriting talents. His popularity on Vine eventually translated to other social media platforms and streaming services.

Following the success of “Mine,” Bazzi released his debut studio album, “Cosmic,” in 2018. The album featured a mix of R&B, pop, and electronic influences, and included other popular tracks like “Beautiful” and “Why.” “Cosmic” received positive reviews and solidified Bazzi‘s place in the music industry.
In April 2019, Bazzi released “Caught in the Fire” and “Paradise”. On August 8, 2019, he released his debut mixtape Soul Searching, which includes the song “Paradise”, as well as “Focus” (featuring 21 Savage) and “I.F.L.Y.”.
In 2020, Bazzi released the singles “Young & Alive”, “Renee’s Song”, “I Got You”, “I Don’t Think I’m Okay”, and “Crazy”.
On September 16, 2022, Bazzi released the long-awaited album “Infinite Dreams“. Marking his first album in 4 years since Cosmic. The album includes a total of 19 tracks. “Dlma” is a song featuring LANY, and “Only Fan” features Cordae.
Bazzi has collaborated with various artists, including Camila Cabello on the remix of “Beautiful.” He continues to release new music, exploring different genres and experimenting with his sound. His subsequent singles and EPs have further showcased his versatility as an artist.
Bazzi’s music is characterized by its blend of pop, R&B, and electronic elements. His songwriting often explores themes of love, relationships, and personal experiences. He cites artists like Justin Timberlake, D’Angelo, and Prince as major influences on his music.
