Tyler Rich (born February 24, 1986) is an American country music singer. He was born Tyler Weinrich in Yuba City, California, and began listening to country music at age eight.

Rich began learning to play guitar at age 14 and, after graduating college, moved to Los Angeles, California.

In 2014, he self-released the single “Radio”. He also self-released a four-song extended play.

After moving to Nashville, Tennessee, he was signed by Big Machine Records imprint Valory Music Group. The label issued his single “The Difference” in 2018. “The Difference” has charted on Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay and was certified Platinum by Music Canada and Gold in the U.S. by RIAA. The song, written by Rhett Akins, Devin Dawson, Benjamin Burgess, and Jacob Durrett, was inspired by Rich’s wife (then fiancée), Sabina Rich (Gadeki). Rich began touring with Brett Young in late 2018.

Tyler Rich‘s debut album, “Two Thousand Miles“, was released on September 4, 2020. Tyler has amassed nearly half a billion global streams to date and notched three No. 1 hits on SiriusXM’s The Highway with his debut album TWO THOUSAND MILES (The Valory Music Co.), featuring GOLD-certified “The Difference” plus subsequent releases “Better Than You’re Used To,” “A Little Bit of You” and “Trucks Don’t Lie.”

In 2022, Tyler joined forces with one of Canada’s most successful bilingual singer-songwriters, Marie-Mai, for a duet on “Thinkin’ We’re in Love” in both English and French.

Country singer-songwriter Tyler Rich was born in Yuba City, California, on February 24, 1986.

He began listening to country music at the age of 8 and, by the time he was 14, he was already writing his own songs on guitar. After graduating college, Tyler Rich moved to Los Angeles and made his debut in 2014 with the independently released single “Radio,” included in his first EP Valerie (2015). In the following years, he relocated to Nashville and struck a deal with the Big Machine imprint Valory Music Group, making his major-label debut with the single “The Difference” (2018), which made it to Number 21 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and became a hit on major streaming services.

Both “The Difference” and its follow-up single “Leave Her Wild” were featured in Tyler Rich‘s first full-length album, Two Thousand Miles, officially released in 2020. Following the release of the non-album singles “Bottom of This Bottle” with Anna Bergendahl and “Better Than You’re Used To” in 2021, Tyler Rich teamed up with French-Canadian country singer Marie-Mai on the track “Thinkin’ We’re in Love,” a collaborative single that climbed to Number 35 on the Canada AC chart.

Tyler’s love of music was cultivated around the Christmas tree, where he and his family would gather each year to spend time together and sing. Tyler’s inspiration comes from those special times singing to the likes of CCR, Tom Petty, The Beatles, and Michael Jackson.

Tyler Rich has his cousin to thank for introducing him to country music when he was eight years old. Tyler’s cousin opened him up to Geroge Strait, Garth Brooks, and Alan Jackson and immediately, Tyler was hooked. When he was 14 years old, his grandparents gave him a guitar. The rest is history!

After graduating college with a degree in economics, Tyler decided to get serious about a career in music, performing with several bands before deciding that a solo career was better for him.

In 2018, CTM named Tyler Rich a “Listen Up Artist” and since then, Tyler Rich has performed with acts like Brett Eldredge, Cole Swindell, Justin Moore, and many others!
