How to Hire T-PAIN For Your Event!
aka: Faheem Rashad Najm
GRAMMY AWARD winning Faheem Rashad Najm, better known by his stage name T-Pain, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer.
Throughout his career as a singer, T-Pain popularized the creative use of the Auto-Tune pitch correction effect, used with extreme parameter settings to create distinctive vocal sounds. His success with the effect has influenced several other major artists to adopt it as well, namely rappers Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Future and Travis Scott, among others.

T-Pain has earned two Grammy Awards from 12 nominations, one with Kanye West for “Good Life” and the other with Jamie Foxx for “Blame It”. From 2006 to 2010, T-Pain was featured on more than 50 chart topping singles. His most successful feature to date was on Flo Rida‘s debut single “Low”, which has since been certified diamond (10× platinum) by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
“I just got tired of turning on the radio and everything just sounding the same,” remarks the Tallahassee, Florida, native whose government name is Faheem Najm. “I know it might sound corny, but I wanted to try and make something different.” After doing an unofficial remix of Akon‘s “Locked Up,” the African sensation signed T-Pain to his Konvict Music imprint.
Incorporating a soaring chorus, soulful handclaps and 808 grooves, his first single “I’m Sprung” (2005) detailed the maddening joy of finding a new love. “…with his acoustic guitar and Vocoder-laced vocals suggest a hurt that no exotic dancer can cure,” wrote critic Chris Ryan in Spin magazine. While some compared the laidback electro with the best of the late Roger Troutman of the group Zapp, it was obvious that T-Pain was on a different level of creativity than his contemporaries.

Having seen firsthand how drugs can destroy the fiber of family, T-Pain consciously chose to detour from that path. With his wife and daughter, he relocated to Atlanta in hopes of a fresh start. In addition, T-Pain built two studios in his sprawling basement. Traveling throughout the world while on tour with label-mate Chris Brown (and later with Bow Wow), also gave T-Pain a different perspective on life and music. “I loved being in London, because overseas it seemed that people were taking different kinds of risks with their records,” T-Pain says.
While T-Pain embraces both the old-school and current R&B, his complete persona shows us an artist who is unafraid of taking chances. “For me, soul music is about love, and it’s that kind of warmth that I want to bring back to the music.”

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BOOK/HIRE T-PAIN?

(i.e., what is T-PAIN booking fee to perform at an event?)
Official booking fees for T-PAIN, or any other celebrity, are determined based on a number of factors and may change at anytime without prior notice.
Factors influencing pricing vary and may include date, location, type of event, whether a private party or a public concert, the artist’s calendar, whether the artist is on tour or not, how well tickets are selling at the artist’s concerts, the current demand for the artist’s music, market activity, etc.
As you might expect, the more in-demand the artist is, the more buyers are prepared to pay. Of course, this causes the artist’s price to increase as the artist becomes more popular or decrease when becoming less popular.
Exclusive agents with exclusive representation frequently quote a range instead of a specific price, since changes can occur at anytime. Generally, the artist’s manager has a role in the decision to accept any particular offer from a talent buyer.
