Who Is Alexis y Fido?
Alexis y Fido is a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo consisting of Raúl Alexis Ortiz (Alexis) and Joel Martínez (Fido). They have been a prominent force in the reggaeton genre since the early 2000s, known for their energetic style and catchy, danceable tracks.
Alexis and Fido were both born and raised in Puerto Rico. They began their musical careers separately, but eventually met and decided to form a duo. The duo first gained attention in the underground reggaeton scene, performing in various clubs and releasing mixtapes. Their breakthrough came when they signed with the label White Lion Records, which helped them gain wider exposure.
Alexis y Fido‘s debut album, The Pitbulls, was released in 2005 and included hits like “Eso Ehh…” and “El Tiburón.” The album was well-received and established them as major players in the reggaeton world.

In 2006, Alexis y Fido released the singles collection, Los Reyes Del Perreo. Sobrenatural spawned two singles, “5 Letras” and “Soy Igual Que Tú”, both of which topped the Latin Rhythm chart.

They continued to release albums such as, Down to Earth (2009), and Perreología (2011). These albums featured collaborations with other prominent reggaeton artists and included numerous hit singles.
