In 2017, Unleash the Archers released “Apex,” a critically acclaimed concept album that tells the story of an immortal being called the Immortal. The album received widespread praise for its storytelling, musical complexity, and Slayes’ vocal performance, establishing the band as a formidable force in the metal scene.
Following the success of “Apex,” the band released “Abyss” in 2020, which continues the narrative from the previous album. “Abyss” was met with critical acclaim for its ambitious concept, production quality, and the band’s growth in musical sophistication. The album features a blend of fast-paced power metal, melodic passages, and intricate songwriting.
