Formation and Early Work
New Addictions: Officially formed in 2018, THE DRIVER ERA’s origins trace back to the recording of R5’s “New Addictions” EP, which the Lynch brothers co-produced. After the New Addictions tour, the brothers decided to pursue a new project as a duo. They debuted in March 2018 with the single “Preacher Man,” which broke into the Top 40 of the Billboard alternative songs chart. This track was included on their first album, “X,” released in June 2019 via BMG. Remixes of tracks from “X” followed in January 2020.
Subsequent Releases
