Plain White T’s initially gained attention in the Chicago music scene with their energetic live performances and catchy pop-rock sound. They released their debut album, “Come on Over,” in 2000, followed by “Stop” in 2002, and “All That We Needed” in 2005.

However, it was their fourth studio album, “Every Second Counts,” released in 2006, that brought them widespread success. The album’s lead single, “Hey There Delilah,” written by Tom Higgenson, became a massive hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song’s heartfelt lyrics and acoustic sound resonated with audiences worldwide, earning the band Grammy nominations and platinum-selling status.

Following the success of “Hey There Delilah,” Plain White T’s continued to release music and tour extensively. Their subsequent albums include “Big Bad World” (2008), “Wonders of the Younger” (2010), “American Nights” (2015), and “Parallel Universe” (2018).

By late 2008, the band had joined the Rock Band Live tour with Panic! at the Disco, Dashboard Confessional and The Cab.

As of October 2020, Tom Higgenson is the only remaining founding member.

After releasing six singles through 2023, Plain White T’s officially released their self-titled studio album on November 17.

Throughout their career, the Plain White T’s have maintained a dedicated fan base with their infectious melodies, relatable lyrics, and dynamic live performances. While “Hey There Delilah” remains their most iconic song, the band has produced numerous other hits and continues to evolve their musical style.

Their discography includes nine studio albums, three extended plays, twenty-one singles, and eighteen music videos.
