Although less frequently requested, the following might be considered, also.
- A non-performance personal appearance.
An example would be to hire a celebrity to attend a private or corporate party as simply a (non-performing) guest to mingle with other guests, or to hire the celebrity to do a meet-and-greet at your party.
- A virtual performance.
A virtual performance is a live or recorded show—such as a concert, play, dance, comedy act, or other artistic presentation—that is broadcast or streamed online instead of being performed in front of a physical audience. Artists perform live from a studio, venue, or even their homes and stream the show on platforms like YouTube, Twitch, or Instagram Live. Essentially, a virtual performance brings entertainment to audiences through the internet rather than in-person venues.

Members:
Brian Marshall, Scott Phillips, Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti
Creed is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida, formed in 1994. The band has sold over 28 million records in the United States and 53 million albums worldwide, making them the ninth best-selling musical act of the 2000s.
Their first two studio albums, My Own Prison (1997) and Human Clay (1999), were released to commercial success despite unfavorable critical reception. Creed released their third album, Weathered, in 2001. The album was a commercial bestseller and certified platinum.

Creed disbanded in 2004 due to tensions between drummer Scott Phillips and the rest of the band, who were struggling with addiction.
In 2009, Creed reunited for a new tour and album. The band also performed a concert in Houston, Texas, which broke Justin Timberlake‘s world record for the most cameras used at a live music event.
In late 2011 and early 2012, Creed reconvened to work on a potential fifth studio album and a tour, performing their first two albums, My Own Prison and Human Clay, with selected tracks from Weathered and Full Circle.
Creed broke up again in 2012, with Tremonti commenting in 2014 that there were “no plans” to reconnect with Stapp. In 2015, Creed released a compilation album, With Arms Wide Open: A Retrospective. In 2016, Stapp joined Art of Anarchy, releasing The Madness in 2017.
In July 2023, the band announced that they had reunited and would be headlining the Summer of ’99 cruise in April 2024.

How is the fee of Creed determined?
✅ Creed fee determination
Creed’s manager determines the artist’s concert fee (also known as a guarantee) by evaluating a combination of business, market, and logistical factors.
Here’s a breakdown of key elements considered:
1. Creed’s Popularity and Demand
-
Ticket Sales History: How many tickets they’ve sold recently in the same market or similar ones.
-
Streaming & Radio Metrics: Spotify/Apple Music numbers, YouTube views, Shazam stats, radio spins.
-
Social Media Following & Engagement: Followers, reach, and how active and loyal the fan base is.
2. Market Strength
-
City or Region: Artists can command higher fees in cities where they are more popular.
-
Venue Size: Bigger venues mean more ticket sales and higher potential revenue.
-
Local Competition: Is the artist competing with other events nearby on the same date?
3. Creed Touring Expenses
-
Band & Crew Payroll: Salaries, per diems, union rates.
-
Production Costs: Lights, sound, transportation, backline, hotel, security, etc.
-
Travel: Flights, buses, fuel, lodging. Fees are often higher for more distant or logistically complex locations.
4. Type of Event
-
Hard Ticket Show: The artist is the main draw; ticket sales drive revenue. The fee is based on expected gross revenue minus expenses.
-
Festival or Fair: Often pay higher flat fees as the event assumes ticket risk.
-
Corporate or Private Event: Typically, higher pricing due to exclusivity and often minimal promotional benefit.
5. Promoter Offer and Negotiation
-
The manager evaluates received offers and may negotiate elements to modify the fee or reduce expenses.
-
Promoters/Private Buyers typically present a formal offer sheet that includes:
-
Guarantee (flat fee): Minimum the artist gets paid.
-
Backend or Bonus: Extra earnings based on ticket sales after breakeven. (Typically, this is not applicable to private/corporate events.)
-
Expenses: Travel, accommodations, hospitality, etc.
6. Comparing Fees
-
Managers often compare fees of similar-level artists to stay competitive in pricing.
7. Creed Routing Considerations
-
If the date fits smoothly into a larger tour routing, they might accept a lower fee.
-
If it’s a one-off or out-of-the-way show, the fee might be higher to justify the extra time and effort.
