In 2012, Simmons’ second studio album, Strange Clouds, reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200. It’s eponymous lead single (featuring Lil Wayne) became his fourth top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The album’s follow up singles, “So Good” and “Both of Us” (featuring Taylor Swift), were both certified platinum by the RIAA, and reached the top 20 in the US. He also released the song “Out of My Mind” (featuring Nicki Minaj).
In December 2013, he released his third album, Underground Luxury. The album was supported by five singles, namely “We Still in This Bitch” (featuring T.I. and Juicy J), “HeadBand” (featuring 2 Chainz), “Ready” (featuring Future), “John Doe” and “Throwback” (featuring Chris Brown). He was later featured on Ty Dolla Sign‘s 2014 single “Paranoid”, which became a Top 40 hit in the US.
