Ally Brooke, born Allyson Brooke Hernandez on July 7, 1993, is an American singer and songwriter. She gained prominence as a member of the popular girl group Fifth Harmony before pursuing a solo career.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Ally showed an early interest in music and performing. She auditioned for the American television show “The X Factor” in 2012 as a solo artist. Although she was eliminated during the boot camp stage, she was brought back along with four other contestants to form the girl group Fifth Harmony.
Fifth Harmony quickly rose to fame following their appearance on “The X Factor.” The group’s debut single, “Miss Movin’ On,” was a commercial success, and they went on to release several hit albums and singles, including “Worth It,” “Work from Home,” and “All In My Head (Flex).” Fifth Harmony became one of the most successful girl groups of the 2010s, earning numerous awards and nominations.

In 2018, Ally Brooke embarked on her solo career following Fifth Harmony’s hiatus. She released her debut single, “Low Key,” featuring rapper Tyga, in early 2019. The song showcased her powerhouse vocals and marked the beginning of her solo journey.

She competed on the 28th season of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2019, finishing in third place. She was featured on the song “Break” by the band Santana, which was included on their album Blessings and Miracles released on October 15, 2021.
Ally Brooke has since released several solo singles, including “Lips Don’t Lie” featuring A Boogie wit da Hoodie, “No Good,” and “500 Veces” featuring Messiah. Her music explores a variety of genres, including pop, R&B, and Latin influences, reflecting her diverse musical background and influences.
In 2022, American DJ Deorro released the song “La Cita” (Eng. “The Date”), featuring Brooke, as part of his album Orro.
On February 9, 2024, Brooke released the collaboration “Alone with You” with Jim Brickman.
