Hire: The Infamous Stringdusters
GRAMMY award-winning The Infamous Stringdusters is a progressive American acoustic/bluegrass band that emerged in 2006 with the limited release of a five-song extended play CD and their first album, Fork in the Road. They are known for their complex, distinctive, and groove-friendly sound with a bluegrass theme.
The band’s formation was based on relationships between banjo player Chris Pandolfi, dobro player Andy Hall, and former guitarist Chris Eldridge. They met in Nashville, Tennessee, where they auditioned for a possible bassist in 2005, finding Travis Book. Eldridge departed in 2007 and was replaced by guitarist Andy Falco.
